Friend making mondays

1. Do you cook every night?
I try. Hubs has assigned Tuesday nights so I can have one night off, and he usually is grilling on the weekend at least once for us.

2. What kind of laundry detergent do you use & why?

Right now I use Tide because I got it on Wicked great sale but it's bad because it smells so good I catch myself sniffing it... Then I use ALL free and clear for the kiddo's they have sensitive skin AND it was WICKED good sale prices too.

3. Do you do laundry every day or loads at a time?

I try to do some each day, I do get behind I think last Friday I had 6-7 loads to catch up on... the belly is making it hard to get things out of the bottom of the washer LOL

4. How often do you eat out per week?
well this is hard to answer because if i'm out doing errands and the belly says FEED me then we eat out... prob. too much right now on this budget but I would rather than get sick and awrey and start snapping at my family.


5. Where do you usually eat out?

Right now hubs got me addicted to Carls Jr. their CARBFREE burger is great on this GD diet I have to stick to. I would rather go through a drive through at Cafe Rio or Costa Vida but they dont have drive through :(

6. What is your favorite retail store?
♥Target♥ Love target even if I have to drive an hour to get there!

7. What's your favorite thing to drink?
Water most of the time, then again sometimes on this diet I have to drink crystal light or diet soda... off the diet I would take reg. pepsi yum!

8. Do you take vitamins? What kind?

I don't I have a million and will be taking some after the pregnancy that oddly enough I can't take right now but otherwise I don't.


9. What percentage of the household chores to you do?
I would say 80-90 depending on the day. Hubs is assigned the garbage, emptying the dishes and sweeping the floors. He does the garbage and an occassional load of laundry. SO I do most of them and I am not great at keeping up on them 100% I need to get better!


10. Do your children do chores? {Or will they, did they, etc}
I wish! Little miss A loves to help but helping is usually causing more work for me, or takes us twice as long to get some stuff done. I am teaching her to make her bed each morning (which I don't even do myself) and clean up her own toys etc. and if I give her a washcloth she will run around wiping everything down... but not really helpful unless you count grabbing things off the ground so I don't have to bend as much these days LOL

11. Do you go to church?

Depends on the week... really hubs hates the ward we are in, so we don't go often. I wish we went more.

12. Do you have a housework schedule?

We try. LOL I had a schedule of what room is suppose to be clean on what day etc. to stay on top of it, but somedays i'm more in the mood to do other chores... so it gets done when I get to it. the office doesn't get done NEARLY enough...

13. Do you keep a working budget?

We were better at this before the pregnancy. 1. because if i'm out and hungry like i said I eat out, and 2. because I have a hard time with some foods and we end up getting things not on sale and I don't tend to take the time to use coupons and get the GREATEST deals I know I can get when i'm preggo and just hurrying to make it through the store. :( But for everything else besides groceries we are pretty darn good...


14. What do you do at night as a family?
We usually hang together, talk about our days and watch some tv... not lately since nothing is on tv and hubs is working late... but I like to throw in a family movie or try to find something on, or just sit and talk and play with little miss A. Then of course bedtime is a family event we all go into A's room and make sure we get in our snuggles and kisses and get things all wrapped up.

15. How do you prepare yourself for a new week?

Not sure... Mondays i'm usually pretty motivated to get the chores done because the house is so out of control with the weekend just past, but with weekly OB appointments and giveaways it usually is a chaotic day.

16. What do your mornings look like?

I wake up when hubs alarm goes off at 4:45 and lay there to fall asleep sometimes hours, then I wake at 8am when little miss A starts talking in her sleep. Then I lay there until she really wakes up or I can't lay down anymore. Today I was woken at 7:30 by a whiny pet who had to go potty! HEY! i'm trying to get all the sleep I can until this newborn is here... do you blame me?

17. What time do you get up in the mornings?

Ah, ha... kinda already answered that.

18. What time do you go to bed at night?

HA whenever I can. sometimes 9:30 sometimes 12 or later... sometimes I lay for hours and have to come back out of the room and do soemthing until I can sleep. Tylenol PM has been helping lately though!

19. How do you manage all of the paperwork that floods into your household? {bills, school work, magazines, ads, etc}

I struggle with this. BIGTIME! the office is a mess with paperwork because I stack it and don't put it in the files they belong in fast enough. Then I have a counter in the kitchen that ends up holding extra paperwork too and let me tell you the medical bills that come in during a pregnancy is enough to kill anyone... :( I have to do it this week though for family coming to visit on FRI. anyone wanna volunteer to help?

20. How do you keep your household organized? {calendars, charts, etc}
I personally have a day planner in my purse and I have been relying on that since this pregnancy because I get SO forgetful. I have a wipe on and off calander that I used to be really good at updating but not so much lately.
