What's for dinner?

So my bloggy friend Brandy is wondering what is for dinner? Well she really isn't wondering she is cheating and trying to solve MAMA KATS problem... because She is starving! I thought I would throw my 2 cents in and toss out an idea for dinner... and since i'm prego talking about food is ALWAYS a good idea!

ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD

1 Cole slaw mix

4 green onions chopped finely

2 chicken breasts cooked and cubed

1/2 C Slivered Almonds

2TBL seasame seeds (optional, I don't use these!)

1pkg Crushed Dry Ramen noodles (SAVE FOR LAST TOPPING TO KEEP CRUNCHY!)

Dressing:

I have two versions of this and the recipe I am going to give you is my FAV. Mix

1/2C Olive Oil

2TBLS Brown sugar

2TBLS vinegar (I use applecider vinegar)

1/4 C Soy sauce

1 tsp salt

splash of ground pepper

flavor packet from ramen ( I have used beef or chicken for this)

I am hosting a BBQ this weekend with my family to find out Baby #2's gender all together and this is one of the items on my menu so far. I am always open for more ideas!!!!

I've actually had this before but without the chicken, almonds and green onions. So basically just the salad part without all the fixin's. (Yes I said fixin's)

It was pretty good...and I like the idea of making it more like a meal. Wonder if my boys would eat it?

I've been taking bacon wrapped jalapenos to all the gatherings lately. PW's recipe is really, really easy and tasty.

For most. I don't like jalapenos.
